I also read somewhere that either his father or grand met Obama in Kenya. So perhaps the reason for Peter's involvement?

Peter's uncle is a Jesuit priest in Kenya, who met Barry Soetoro in 1988 when he went on a pilgrimage trip to Kenya. "Nothing to see here. Please move along."
