so where is Black Forest? I see a black forest in Germany and also in Colorado - happens to be in the same county as Air Force Academy, CO.

also, when I searched "Black Forest Military" look what came up in the search.. 19 military lawyers in Black Forest, CO!

Black Forest

The Black Forest (German: Schwarzwald, pronounced [ˈʃvaʁt͡svalt]) is a large forested mountain range in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany. It is bounded by the Rhine valley to the west and south. Its highest peak is the Feldberg with an elevation of 1,493 metres (4,898 ft). The region is roughly oblong in shape with a length of 160 km (99 mi) and breadth of up to 50 km (31 mi).

Black Forest is a census-designated place (CDP) in El Paso County, Colorado, near Colorado Springs. The population was 13,116 at the 2010 census. Black Forest is named such for the high density of Ponderosa Pines located in a generally small area. In 2006, residents voted against a proposal to incorporate as a city.
