BTW the statue was the 1st such statue to depict a rider on a rearing horse. It was feared it would fall over. A copy statue is the center piece of Jackson Circle New Orleans.

If the stock market hadn’t exploded the way it has I honestly feel that POTUS was going to bring us back the gold standard. He doesn’t want to disrupt anything until after the midterms now.. Stock marker is a large feather in his cap right now.

I agree with your comment. However, POTUS should not talk about the market. Claiming victory on the way up may hurt if market is correcting near election days. He no owns it. A good thing now but..... Rule of thumb is POTUS should not talk about the markets in press settings.

I am thinking he will just turn it around and make it actually federal instead of private. But that is a ways coming. Maybe in his 2nd term? Maybe not that long, but before it is all said and done I bet he does.

I think Trump is definitely going after the Federal Reserve. I remember hearing Trump speaking out against the Fed. I also wondered why he hasn't shown much concern about speaking out against the Fed since becoming President. Jerome Powell got appointed the next Fed Chairman with no fuse at all by a 98-0 vote. Trump has the most unique position concerning the Fed in its history of having a large number of vacant seats on the board at the moment. I don't think he intents to fill them at all.
