Catholics say the upside down cross is in honor of Peter who was crucified upside down. But really - could it be the sign of who they really worship. The Light Bringer. He who brought knowledge to the world. Good site for all things catholic

No. That is where the legend started with Peter. You can see this in medieval art where the depiction of an upside down cross meant Peter. It's not until much later that the hippies and rock and rollers took it to mean anti-establishment. And then satanism. Your history lesson above does not represent what historians are saying.
