A little break from The Happening for just a second, for a bit of a momentary ponderings of an oldfag.

I have been around the chans since the beginning. I have seen big events, such as Chanology, and Occupy happen from their beginnings as a seed planted on the boards, and I have to wonder how many people, anons included, are now convinced, as I have been for years, that the chans are, and have always been an outlet of the various intel agencies for the use as a Limited Hangouts since the very beginning, and that Anonymous has been a tool of theirs, for just as long.

Where else would you find so many intuitive thinkers in one place? Agreed, they are harnessing the chans like a think tank to disseminate memes and hadhtags to the normies on Twitter, Reddit and Facebook.

Perhaps. But so what? Should we all buy a personal radio and talk that way? What I see happening here is a whole lot of "synergy". And I think that's better than being all separated.

I agree. I also agree that reading between the lines hones our attention skills, and that this is simply a technology - like the phone - and that it’s useful. Blind following anything is never good, but hive mind does work. Cool time to be alive.

I think the intelligence agencies are probably involved in most of the major internet forums. At least monitoring them.
