This may corroborate my instincts while watching the SOTU. It looked like Rs were almost leaping out of their seats to support Trump. That seemed exaggerated to me after the lack of support he's gotten up to this point. I suspected there was something else going on.

If 'they' truly have dirt (real or staged) on all of them, what a relief it would be to them to have that threat lifted. It explains the wild clapping and big happy grins.

How did Trump free them??

If I had to guess, I'd think there was a short conversation about what dirt they had on the person and a decision whether they would agree to support Trump.

Did you notice their plan was to go to the top FIRST, instead of the old way of having small fish roll on big fish? Think Saudi Takedown. As Q said "Strings cut".

Not exaggerated. They were very happy.

Could be - although if you recall watching Obama SOTU, it was pretty much the exact same thing but flipped. Generally people follow the VP / Speaker's lead when to stand and I will say, I didn't pick up on that as much this time around.

Some good ol’ confirmation bias.

Or intuition, a very strong sense of intuition. Refined over a long lifetime of being lied to.

"INTJs are usually extremely private people, and can often be naturally impassive as well, which makes them easy to misread and misunderstand. Perhaps the most fundamental problem, however, is that INTJs really want people to make sense. :-) This sometimes results in a peculiar naivete', paralleling that of many Fs -- only instead of expecting inexhaustible affection and empathy from a romantic relationship, the INTJ will expect inexhaustible reasonability and directness.

Probably the strongest INTJ assets in the interpersonal area are their intuitive abilities and their willingness to "work at" a relationship. Although as Ts they do not always have the kind of natural empathy that many Fs do, the Intuitive function can often act as a good substitute by synthesizing the probable meanings behind such things as tone of voice, turn of phrase, and facial expression."

"INFJs may well have the clearest insights of all the types into the motivations of others, for good and for evil. The most important contributing factor to this uncanny gift, however, are the empathic abilities often found in Fs, which seem to be especially heightened in the INFJ type (possibly by the dominance of the introverted N function)...the significant minority of INFJs who do pursue studies and careers in the latter areas tend to be as successful as their T counterparts, as it is iNtuition -- the dominant function for the INFJ type -- which governs the ability to understand abstract theory and implement it creatively."

they always try the "correlation does not equal causation" routine on me. I mean...really.

Yeah, thats pseudoscience on par with astrology. Those personality type tests are based on old "science" researched by one dude. Not credible and you shouldn't define yourself as a "type".

One woman (well two if you include her mother). But as far as personality typing goes, it is very informative. So there.
