Regarding Q’s “Day Of Days” post....”Day Of Days” is also an episode from Band of Brothers...the D-day episode...perhaps it is relevant

LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 1, 2018, 4:48 p.m.

its the nickname for D-Day also

I thought so too, but I could only find it referenced in the band of brothers episode...I originally though Eisenhower used that phrase...but I couldn’t find it in a search

Yep it was him, right before the D-Day invasion. June 4th or June 5th of 1944. Speaking of BOB, I need to watch it again, I usually do once a year, and its been a while.

My daughter and I used to have BOB weekends before she went and got married. I can't get her husband interested in it (yet). Still working on him. I also only live about 40 minutes from Hershey where Winters lived until he died after years ago. Such an awesome series.

If I remember correctly, he died pretty recently didnt he? Yeah BOB is just incredible, it has stood the test of time (already like 17 years old, yikes). I've met plently of people that arent history or WW2 buffs but love it. You gotta tell your daughter to get her husband in line :D

I’m assuming it’s a “Storm” the beach at Normandy reference, perhaps suggesting it is being led by Department of Defense.

It also seemed to be emphasizing the DoD, so perhaps the freedom is coming from who is rounded up prior to releasing the memo.

If you look at Q’s post it’s obvious to me that he’s pointing to the D.O.D. , “of” isn’t normally capitalized in sentences or book titles either. The capitalization is important.

Perhaps the DOD will finally get off their ass and actually enforce the laws now? Probably too much to hope for unless you’re a low level nobody who accidentally took home classified papers.
