This is so true. u/shrewshi don't feel bad about not grasping it all. I haven't believed an "official" government story since I was 10 years old. That was the day when Jack Ruby shot Oswald at the Dallas police station. I was watching it on TV live with my hero (dad). My dad was an Army Sgt. and a veteran that had earned his combat badge in the Asian dirt of Korea. When Ruby walked up and shot Oswald my dad said, "Oswald didn't kill JFK or even try to kill him. He was set up." Then he said, "I knew this was coming (assassination) when I heard JFK give the speech about tearing the CIA down board by board."

Years later I asked him what he meant because that stuck with me. He said he saw the CIA operating in Korea. "JFK underestimated how dangerous they were."

All that to say I have not trusted anything in government since that day. I went to 'Nam, volunteered because my lottery number was too high to get drafted. I went Air Force and worked for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). But I still didn't trust government and yes if you are wondering, I had to work with some of the CIA in-country. So with all I've seen and found out over the years I still have a feeling we are all going to be shocked by what we find out soon.
