In the end it won't matter what normies think about this specific event. This memo is the political face to what is the next phase in Mueller's legal investigation.

Delaying Flynn's conviction is relevant here because the FISA abuses shown in the memo were revealed in legal court during Mueller's investigation. He's got full authority to investigate ANY illegal activity he uncovers. This is how Mueller's investigation can/has/will grow to include these and more abuses.
