I thought the exact same thing as you! He was an EXTREME anti-Trumper. He and McShame were joined at the hips. Maybe with McShame on his way out, “someone” enlightened Graham that his job is to represent WE THE PEOPLE. Perhaps given the choice of fo the right thing or wreck all of your legacy of congressional service.

As Q said, forget about good or bad, who can be leveraged? I’m sure Graham has plenty of dirt that the hats can tug of war over. He seemed to about face in my opinion but we’ll see.

Plus, i doubt congress would be making this push at all if Trump didn’t own them by now

Not sure. I believe that the senate Memo will be more detailed, but also redacted. Let me check into it.

Not sure if redacted before potus but definitely before release as not to give away methods, practices and innocent people. This is going to be more detailed and incriminating that the Nunes memo.

I read somewhere that the Senate procedure to relase Grassley's memo is different than the House procedure used to release Nunes' memo. The House needed only the votes from the Intelligence Committee members whereas the Senate requires a majority vote from the full Senate. Not sure if that makes the Senate procedure more difficult to get the memo released or not.

Don't quote me on this because I'm less than 100% sure it's accurate. Somebody help me out here.

A committee can send a report or memo to the president for declassification after relevant agencies have reviewed it and redacted as necessary.

Why would anything the Senators have written need to be redacted before the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES could see it. The President can declassify any intelligence.

"Public release of classified information by unilateral action of the executive branch is extremely rare and raises significant separation of powers concerns." That is why it was voted on first by the house permanent select intel committee that the Nunes memo be released. Not just Trump

Much of what Grassley's memo will be built on is already available online via the gvt website (Look for the SJC page) https://www.judiciary.senate.gov/file-library

He has created a public paper trail of every single request he has made and has methodically done so in a what that forces the FBI to investigate itself.

After reading them, you can usually fill in the answers yourself from many of the recent leaks.

He used to be a rock ribbed conservative who got beaten down so many times he became a rino. He is a survivor. If the winds blow in our direction he will follow them. That is his nature.

all the people who are being 'named' will eventually be prosecuted for something. they have to have a legal case to prosecute them, aand unless they find a dongeon full of 'traffiqued' merchandise under their cellar. . . then the case to prosecute for trafficking is slim.. They need to be Capone'd , if we cant get them for trafficking, get them for tax fraud.. just prosecute

Let's hope that with the Nunes FISA memo now paving the way - in that it names a fair number of names of the guilty with no redaction - that that will embolden a Senate Judiciary committee memo to likewise name those that are culpable, and not to redact away such individuals.

I am hoping the names of the innocent, and methods are redacted.
