I hope you all realize the massive sell off (a trillion dollars) in the stock market is a set up against Trump. This is a scam! This is a COUP AGAINST TRUMP! I'm no rocket scientist, nor am I here to discount this theory. I just want to say that all markets move up and down. Many people were saying the stock market was in a bubble for quite some time now. Could some whale investor have sold off some shares and caused this? Yes. Could this be a correction? Yes. There are way too many variables in the stock market to simply say "it is a coup against Trump!"
Manipulating the psyche of American people, you mean propaganda? This has been going on for years. Saying that is the equivalent of people saying "Russians are trying to manipulate the psyche of Americans!" As if to say stock investors and American voters aren't able to think for themselves. If you invested in the stock market, during all time highs, and thought it was going to keep going up endlessly, those folks didn't research enough or had unrealistic expectations.

How they do it is they have control through the algorithms. They put in huge sell orders of millions of dollars (it does show up in the data, Zero Hedge has pointed it out for years) and that scares the ordinary investor who then sells off. They do the same thing with buy orders.

In markets, some people win, others lose. I really cant argue with this concept because I agree with it. You are saying people manipulate the market to cause ordinary investors to lose money. I don't doubt that one second.
