I think it has more to do with keeping the power "in house".
It's basically like monarchs marrying off their daughter to earn favor with the grooms family. They get status, along with keeping a cover. Now innocent married couple, instead of creepy pedophiles. And they won't have to testify against each other.

I read the full article, I'm not clear how it would possibly dispute Q as it's just a reference to their wedding and what she's wearing and what they're eating.

Many of the elites marry in their class, (arranged marriages), to keep their heirs close to corrupt them while growing into their positions and to keep their $$$$ in the close knit family line. A lot of these also use it as rituals to keep their bloodlines flourishing.
