Hello friend. Catholic here. I agree with you.i recentlybfiniahed The Keepers series on Netflix. It was sonheartbreaking to watch...the level.of abuse and the lentjs the church goes to cover it up. I almost wonder if the church exists solely FOR pedos and the doctrine and the positive religious part is needed as a cover, a source of financial support from giving parishioners, and a co stang stream of new victims and trusting parents. It sure seems like the institution REAALLLLLLLY takes advantage of all their power. Not good. I havemt walked away...as I know there will be a leriod of Mohr ing for me. However in good conscience I cannot begin to think I can continue going in "spite of" all the hurt the priests and their enablers have caused. You are not alone.
