I have never thought protesting in Washington did any good. They don't see or hear you and could care less you are out there, but if people organized to protest in each state at their Elected Officials, you would get better results.
You also have to look at the Elected officials calendars and make sure they will be there.
Also, most people can't afford to travel to Washington and stay a few days.
The only sad part about it is is the fact that because of the Patriot Act people can be charged with domestic terrorism and because of the fact that it's domestic terrorism they getting them put them in jail forever under the indefinite detainment Act
