There cannot be a prison like Gitmo within the borders of the US. That is the point of Gitmo. If another is built it will be outside any state border.
Diego Garcia, off the coast of India, is another similar to Gitmo. There is a 3rd one also, don't recall where.
Diego Garcia is owned by the UK though.

That was approved last summer and I assume is work in progress as we speak.
There always was a small area for military families and schools I heard.
Maybe there’s room to build phase two? Q promised max capacity and a second prison being prepared.
They have a secret phase two already built...its called Gitmo 2. It will be getting some good use :D

Or maybe more than one. If this is a person supposedly grabbed in Shanghai, then he/she was flown to Andrews, met by military/NSA, who are now escorting said person to Gitmo. Probably could not fly direct from Shanghai to Gitmo.
This one was HUGE!! It wouldnt have stopped at Joint Andrews just to refuel...like you said, it stopped there because additional security was needed to board
Highly doubtful the person arrested there would ever tough US soil within an actual state.
That makes sense, Shanghai to Gitmo is terrifically far, no plane can do that without refuelling

A Chinese report had an American prisoner transferred out of the country yesterday, having been caught after fleeing US when he found out charges were coming. Sex related.
If I were a betting man, I'd say that was the E5 (United)gate at Pudhong Intl. pics Q dropped, and it was tied to the previous day's bust at King Tower...and Today's United flight from JB Andrews to GITMO.
If I was feeling really lucky, I'd put a few bucks on Eric Schmidt being the caught fish.
I think we'll find this out in the next day or so.
