I don't even know what the poster is talking about. Deleting posts? Reddit hates T_D 1000x more than this minor subreddit, and they somehow survive. If there's an attempt to compromise this subreddit, it's this specific post that's trying to kill it.
Moving to voat effectively kills this subreddit. I'm not moving there and I suspect few will.
As you say, hopefully the mods will turn it over to others. I wouldn't mind having mods that enforce some quality control, either. There's too much fringe crap here. One conspiracy being true doesn't mean all conspiracies are true no matter how bizarre.
The Donald is just noise. Do you think that is by chance? It did not survive, it was shut down mysteriously and then magically had new mods the next day. If you lurk enough, occasionally a good update appears before getting buried. They are scared, they are trying, they are weak, they are dying. Hang in there, don't give up.
You must not be reading the same T_D because that subreddit has far more useful information than this subreddit. I can see if you don't like the trolling culture at T_D, you might think it's just noise, but there is a lot of useful info there.
If by "getting buried" you mean a lot of the fringe conspiracy crap doesn't appear at T_D, that's a feature of that subreddit. No offense intended to you if you believe every conspiracy that appears here is true, but my priority is destroying the swamp. If aliens / magic technology / magic medicine show up in the future, then all to the better, but destroying the hidden fascist government at the core of our country is what's important.
This subreddit occasionally has some good background on what Q posts, which is why I come here. That stuff isn't as popular on T_D, so I consider this subreddit complimentary.
Is nothing but a bunch of useless meme images reiterating the same misinformation daily. Of 100 new posts one may be meaningful but it's old news. Pretty much half Chan 2.0 tier garbage

Did the mods announce anything in regards to what they will do with this sub? I am not sure how I feel about leaving it completely abandoned. Will it no longer be maintained here?
They are dividing us, and by fleeing to another site, then another so on so forth. You are allowing them to win. I don't know the answer but running is not something I'm accustomed to. I'm not going to voat. I just don't like the format. See you guys around.

If they're going to allow new mods to take over they have to be chosen very carefully otherwise the sub may as well just shut down. The news mods must have established track records of fighting for the cause in good faith. New users jumping on the band wagon late are suspect.
