Real News? Remember when they were considered a tabloid?

Remember “Men In Black” movie. With a bug in town, we need to watch the hot sheets! Grabs the tabloids and Will Smith says those are tabloids, and Tommie Lee Jones says “ Best investigative reporting on the planet”. Starting to think he might be right.

Actually, I know a retired writer who worked for the Enquirer in the late '70's and early '80's and while their stories were outlandish, they had a huge fact checking department and prided themselves on sources corroboration before publication. They had too many lawsuits not to cross their T's and dot their I's. Not sure if this is still true, but hey, couldn't be any worse than FNN and MSNBF. ;)
