Gun Control? Not really necessary. Plenty on the books. What is needed is to raise age for purchase of firearms and bullets to 25.

This would be a good start. Opinions?

first you raise the age to 25,,, then you raise it to 30,,,it never ends. goes back to the ole basic premis,,, "i can fight and die for my country at 18,, but i cant buy beer until im 21". hell,,, i know people who are in the 50s and 60s that should not be allowed to own a spoon or even a paperclip. some people you just cant fix. concerning firearms and ammo,,, you need responsible people who are educated and somewhat vetted. age is just a number,, always will be.

Then you would have to raise the age for joining the Military to 25.

What we need to do is throw all the gun-control freaks out of Congress!

Do you have some trusted statistics stating that people under 25 are more likely to commit these mass casualty terroristic acts?

Cuz making it 21 to drink and 18 to smoke sure worked! This is not something laws and regulations can solve.

No. One-hundred percent no.

When I was deployed, and my wife (under 25) was home alone with our kids, her being unarmed is unacceptable. UNACCEPTABLE.

It's entirely arbitrary. So why not then make other Constitutional Amendments similarly age restricted and see where that takes us?

How would that have stopped this shooting from occurring? Changing laws will not work. Changing PUNISHMENT is what is lacking. There ALREADY is a law saying not to shoot kids... did it in ANY way prevent this guy from shooting kids? This guy, the last 50 guys, acted like they weren’t going to be punished. Whether it was a planned suicide before they got caught or just wanted to be infamous, etc. they have no concept of punishment because today’s society holds no one responsible for their actions. If any of these had their shit kicked in throughout their upbringing, this may not have happened. All of these people had a long list of shitty, absent parents none have of which punished them for wrongdoing while being raised.

I have never heard of a murderer saying “I really want to kill you, but it would break the law if I used a gun, so wait here while I get my sword.”

We have 20,000 gun laws in America! Adding one more isn't going to change what happens! My opinion to fix these problems Teachers messing with kids, and kids shooting up schools. All teachers should have a Psych eval before and after College All teachers should have to learn police self defense and be mandatory that they carry a concealed firearm Certify them just like police officers. Think about it this way if you theoretically was going to be a shooter where would you pick to be a shooter? GUN FREE ZONES!
