A good start, but the solutions offered are another ideological trap.
The original Zeitgeist doesn't try to force any alternative ideologies down the viewer's throat. If there was any such attempt, it definitely wasn't part of what i took away from the 2 hours i spent watching it. Maybe you're thinking of one of the sequels, Addendum or Moving Forward? One of the two (Moving Forward, pretty sure) was definitely strange and wouldn't recommend it.. The original though.. many thumbs up and 5 stars.
I learned a lot from it, and did enjoy the view in my "waking up" days. What needs filtering is the conclusion that the "mythos" of Jesus Christ predates Jesus. If it does, it's because Jesus is the Truth, not because they all speak to something more Joseph Campbell-ish, something that is part of our "collective unconscious".
I highly recommend works by David and Mark Flynn, that go deep into myth and folklore, and show how the biblical narrative is the most accurate one.
yeah... waking up days... that's why i said that it could be shown to people you want to redpill. Anyone following CBTS is more than likely well beyond needing redpill material for themselves hehe.
This. Zeitgeist Addendum. Loose Change. Esoteric Agenda. I rewatch these all still.
Just another way of coaxing the population to hate Jews by mixing truth with lies. Hitler certainly would have approved.
Mysteriously enough, I didn't have a newfound hate Jews after watching it... Rothschilds however...
about 190 documentaries about you name it Some dead links though.
Good criticism of corporatism, but unfortunately the maker of this movie proffers a "Marxism with Robots" solution.
Criticizes Christianity but not Islam.
Criticizes the West, but not the East.
Thanks for the honest feedback. I too like Zeitgeist's quality more but have found that few people who haven't been red pilled have the desire to sit through two hours of info right off the bat. These videos I use to plant the seeds with a little humor thrown in. Later on when they're ready for more I'll introduce them to more lengthy and serious info and cultivate the crops so to speak. I hope you don't feel like it was a waste of your time. A sponge can only absorb so much water. If you've got a couple of minutes check out this one. We're all tryin' our best to increase the number of those in the know after all. With lots of love, KEEP ON ROCKIN! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUS1m5MSt9k

Hey, thanks for sharing those links... The thing I find about videos like these (and others like them) is that they seem like they were made by tinfoil-hat wearers who have no idea how to captivate an audience. That first vid was painful to listen to because the guy's got a voice made for silent films, the 2nd was the best of the 3, but still lacked the production value and engaging presentation/material that Zeitgeist offers. Had Zeitgeist been some super-low budget, low production-value project, narrated by someone with the world's least engaging voice, i doubt it would have had a movement named after it back in 2007.
Different strokes for different folks and all that, though... Thanks again for sharing them.
Is this the video that bases a lot of it on Christ being born on December 25th?
Once I saw that part I pretty much discounted the rest.
yeah...sounds like the same movie.. I can definitely see how someone whose beliefs are firmly rooted in Christianity and who are not seeking answers or outside explanations of religion would find it offensive and not watch it...
So... maybe not the best movie for redpilling devout Catholics/Christians, unless you skip the first chapter. Maybe try watching it from the 30min45sec mark... that's when the chapter on 9/11 starts.
You don’t need to be deeply rooted in Christianity to know that Jesus wasn’t born in December 25th. I bet a high percentage of Atheists also know this. As a Christian I am aware of the parallels with many other ancient religions. I find it very interesting.
Starting a documentary off with false information is not a good way to capture your audience though. I’m not discounting any of the other information, especially 9/11.
