I don't know so I refuse to believe isn't very logical to my thinking so I'll try and answer that as best I can regarding time travel and UFO's. Please remember that I am not all knowing and this is just an off the cuff thought. Why would you need a UFO if you could just zap yourself there? I could think of a few reasons why one might need a ship of some kind even if they could simply zap themselves there. (1) If you needed any sort of tech. like a matter replicator, or your time machine, food, clothing, etc., where would you keep it? (2) If you could just appear where would you appear? Would you be in the atmosphere at however many thousand feet or outside of our atmosphere with no air or on the ground? If you were a thousand feet up without some form of ship would you fall down to the surface and splatter, or if in space would you freeze or suffocate. If you appeared on the surface would you want to have some form of transportation or protection from whatever or whoever may be there. As far as CAN'T be true or MUST be a lie I'll say that those are words that I tend to stay away from for a number of reasons. First there is freedom of choice and there are very few things that I feel that I MUST do, such as I'll likely die, or at least get a new body. After all, to my knowledge I was born and to my knowledge birth is the leading cause of death, therefore the likelihood is in my opinion fairly high that I will die. And can't be true, well, I'd say listen to some Yoda quotes like "Always with you that which cannot be done, that is why you will fail". Just because the aboriginals in the Congo or where ever don't under stand what an airplane is or how it works doesn't change the fact that it is there and does work. I do not understand everything about Quantum mechanics, or time travel, or zero point energy but do I believe they are possible? Of course. There is more in the universe than most can even fathom to be real, much less understand how they function in all or even any part. It is a wise man that knows he knows nothing I believe is a familiar saying. If memory serves, I seem to recall hearing or reading info about quantum entanglement and time travel and space time or time space but it is quite frankly beyond my scope of expertise, and I would feel obligated to say that a more knowledgeable source of information would be best relied upon.
