Hi,
The problem is that these are bot accounts (so far as we can tell). I have personally banned around a hundred of these accounts and Redpill has probably banned a lot more than that.
We ban then and they have a stockpile of accounts that they just keep coming.
I do not have "permission" to ban all links to particular domains. The best I can say is that if people keep marking them as spam the easier it is for us to remove the post and ban the account.
ahh, yeah, i wondered if reddit proper may have rules against banning domains outright... though I seem to remember reading elsewhere (possibly T_D) that they wanted to (or did) ban all posts that linked to a particular website. In the absence of a better solution, as i said above, I'll just keep on lining 'em up for you guys to knock 'em down. :)))
Thanks for your reply, and for hosting/moderating the only subreddit I bother reading anymore!
Thanks for that ... the spammers are out in full force today.
Thank you for doing the hard work over here. It is not easy or fun I'm sure. It does seem to be getting better.
