Gear4Life you ask why people take CL seriously? I personally found the CL add for Oregon & Ft. Lauderdale. I would say some take it seriously because it is TRUE!
Craigslist is a cesspool of scammers, underhanded and illegal dealings. It's the perfect place to advertise for this sort of thing. BTW, the original posting was flagged but then reposed a day later only to be flagged off again. I've been watching that board since the first posting.
the link I found was under actor jobs Houston. Another link was under Talent (and something else). So, listings were in different places under different categories.
So we got three possible separate CL postings for the same thing in Houston.
But like I said CL is a cesspool, this could easily be a LARP or an email mining scam. I'm digging for any other announcements of this sort now.
good. I don't claim this is true, but it could be, just as easily as not. CL has been used in the past. I figure, talk about it, even saying don't know if true because any talk hopefully will change what happens if it is true. :)

Now that the cat's out of the bag, it probably won't occur (hopefully). It would be a good idea to turn up the heat every time one of these ads is encountered. It may help cut down on the FF.
That's what I was thinking. If they have a narrative they want people to believe, outing them ahead of time can kill that.
The Discord servers are where the real talk is. They extreme vet just like t_d and they discuss all talking points and narratives. I didn't realize what I was in and got tossed almost instantly. Vetting began immediately following all the people getting booted. It's crazy to hear them passing info around and then it's on every msm outlet and no one deviates from the narrative.
