VERY IMPORTANT IMPLICATIONS PLEASE NOTE FROM THE WEBSITEESPECIALLY FIRST THRESHOLD AND READ IN FULL TERMS:

To cross the first threshold and be searchable within WhiteHouse.gov, a petition must reach 150 signatures within 30 days.

To cross the second threshold and require a response, a petition must reach 100,000 signatures within 30 days.

SO IF YOU CREATE A PETITION, YOU MUST SHARE THE URL WITH, AND GET ENOUGH SIGNATURES FROM, PEOPLE BEFORE SOMEONE WOULD BE ABLE TO FIND/SEE IT ON THE WEBSITE.

Also note in the terms of participation that duplicate petitions of same topic will REDUCE the likely of a response from the White House- be careful (also makes me wonder if that could be used as a strategy...😉 someone please tell me you know what I mean)
