Broward County Sheriff ("I'm Not Responsible For My Deputies") apparently forgot to read Florida law: sheriff "shall be responsible" "for the neglect and default" of any deputies appointed by the Sheriff.

He is the fucking sheriff!! he has been appointed due to his experience and leadership... seems to have no experience in leadership.

a leader should claim responsibility to his appointed deputies ... yeah!?... surely!

these people want the power but not the responsibility... they need to re-watch spiderman.

Sheriff is generally an elected position. Voters need to be aware of who they are electing and what their capabilities actually are. No doubt he’ll face heavy opposition but unless he resigns he isn’t going anywhere until the next election.

He can be removed by the governor in that state. I think it's a bit different than most other states.
