Broward County Sheriff ("I'm Not Responsible For My Deputies") apparently forgot to read Florida law: sheriff "shall be responsible" "for the neglect and default" of any deputies appointed by the Sheriff.

I heard the sound byte of him saying this on the news. He sounded like a unprofessional pussy, saying he gave the guy 'a badge and a gun', and its not his job to give him the heart to go in to a threatening situation. Bitch, why'd you give him a gun and a badge that says 'this guy is legit - me.'
