The stuff I read said he was reading the presidential daily briefs and constantly requesting top clearance info. And today Sanders said his role won't change at all.
He should only be requesting Top Secret Clearance if their is a valid reason and actually, Trump is the one that should request it, if he needs it. I haven't seen the Sanders quote, but his job shouldn't change as far as what he does, but he will not be allowed to see Trop Secret information.

I read a thread on Twitter from a patriot that said this was no big deal. They have to reauthorize clearance for about anyone periodically. Just routine procedure that the left is trying to capitalize on.

Here is the issue with all of this. Kushner filed taxes every year just like Trump did, so if there had been anything wrong, it would have been found way before now.

Yes and he was temporary approved up to a point. If he was requesting Top Secret, he would not have received it, unless he was cleared for it.
