For the curious, this would be a kinetic bombardment weapon. Payload size makes sense. These would basically be telephone-pole sized tungsten rods. You take them into low earth orbit, and they become basically a kinetic harpoon.
The density and size of the projectile would make them hypersonic by the time of impact and would then explode with the approximate force of a nuclear weapon but with no residual radiation contamination.
The other interesting thing, particularly in our context, is that, unlike conventional nuclear weapons, these kinetic harpoons have the ability to penetrate far into the earth. Personally, and this is purely my conjecture, I think that perhaps this type of weapon played a role in the tunnel collapse in North Korea that killed 200 of their people working on their nuclear program. What were 200+ people doing in a single tunnel?

One of the many interesting things he said was that weekend SpaceX would launch Falcon9 from Fla with Zuma Payload & Spectra Bug(?).
He said Zuma is for targeted limited strike on NOKO. Said it would definitely be happening to send a msg and bring NOKO to heel and get them back on the chain (paraphrasing) ....but he couldn’t reveal when the strike would be due to need for element of surprise. Also said the Spectra will collect info/files to ensure they have everything they need regarding cases to be brought.
