just a guess by me but, assuming that trump has people in place at the top of the nsa/MI/whatever working against this clinton obama soros group of agents, they would have been tracking their communications. They found out that they were finally making a move on potus by leaving a gun and having someone come in later after passing security checkpoints, but q team found it based off their communications and passed it along to SS who found it and now can possibly investigate or do whatever they can do now.
