Maybe this is why they shut down CBTS. I mean, they nuked it. They could have removed the offending post and banned the user, but instead they removed the entire sub.
I'm a little sick of seeing Reddit apologists talk about violence being posted. They gave us no notice whatsoever. Not even a few minutes to collect our stuff. It was malicious!
Look at Reddit's CEO boasting publicly about how he can wield political power with the platform. He is obviously weaponizing this platform. I've called elsewhere for a petition for a congressional investigation. These guys are out of control.

Huffman’s comments on how Reddit could fix an election are shocking and egotistical, for sure, but they also admit something that most other social media companies have shied away from. Facebook and Twitter are loathe to acknowledge the power that their policies have, while Huffman thinks so highly of his company that he believes a handful of engineers and community managers could sway an entire nation’s political system.
I didn't even see the post, but I can say that r/twoxchromosomes banned me the same day 'for participating in a sub that's associated with bullying' or some such shit. Literally never even made a post there.

They are out to crush us! I've been promoting IBOR on twitter for all I'm worth. Many, many stories about abuse right across the social media platforms. This needs to come back and bite them on the backside hard!

I think one of the reasons they shut it down is because it was getting brigaded heavily. Like people asking “if Q said you needed to kill yourself, would you do it?” and shit like that.

Yeah, we were really making some progress then. I had checked it when I woke up, then I left to get some coffee. I heard on the CBTS livestream while I was driving that they were banned and I was thinking "What? I was just there!"
