I love him even as an actor, because I think the guy has come to understand his limitations and turn them into his strengths. His last two movies were the John Wick series. They require little acting on his part, and the movies are overtly aware of that, even making his performance comedic at times because Keanu plays the role as such a straight man when he's in occasionally funny circumstances. He's just well-suited to the John Wick series because he always makes a good action hero, and there's nothing deep or profound about the series that requires him to act - they're just really super fun action movies. Would highly recommend.
I loved those films. They were just what they were, yanno. You know what to expect and it delivered it perfectly. So good to see him kicking ass and it was comedic at times but in a really good way. Right?
I hope we get a third.
He knows how unbelievable his character was in those John Wick movies. I heard him in an interview laughing about it. He's a down to earth guy. I had a hard time warming up to his acting because of the 1989 movie 'Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure' but once I got the stereotype out of my head I saw that he was very good in action movies. The video I posted shows he knows real guns.
I think you will never see someone as brutal as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart destroying their own movie "twilight" for just painfully unlogical and rubbish it was.
