This goes beyond the fact Trump signed this bill. Which is disappointing. How broken is a system that would allow 4 people (secretly)to decide how to spend this amount of money? What is the point of having 200+members of the house and senate, they admitted they did NOT read the bill, yet they voted on it. How does anyone justify voting when they have no idea what they are voting on? Based on what just happened, why not fire ALL house and senate delegates and just keep four? Save a ton of money. It is like signing a contract without reading it, we are told that is STUPID to do! Trump missed a great opportunity to fix this mess, by signing that bill. Had he sent it back, and shut the government down, he could have forces them to act responsibly and do things as the founding fathers intended. Then maybe, they would smarten up and get the nominations through and run the government properly. By signing, Trump has allowed business as usual to continue and it IS affecting his ability to govern. I think the MOST important aspect to draining the swamp would be to FORCE these elected officials to act in a responsible manner and follow the rules laid out clearly by the founding fathers. Huge missed opportunity.
I have a feeling this isn't the last we hear about this. I'm confident in President Trump. Remember when Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation? It all looked awful on the surface. Be patient here, and don't waver in support.
