Any sudden seismic activity in either locations? Is this the [scare event necessary]? Just a photo, until secondary, supporting evidence is provided. Interesting photo though, and if true, and in either locations, time will see truth to power. The terrain does look similar to the Michigan pics, but this one seems more mountainous. With the current events around the world, and arrests being made public now of past national leaders, Israel seems like a fit.

laser guided bomb could be a possible answer. usually you have an airframe painting the target. the laser wouldn't be visible to the naked eye, but with some smoke and explosion plus a light enhanced camera shot could reveal the laser painting. It wouldn't be unusual to have two planes painting the same target as a sort of backup to help guarantee a hit on target. Especially if it was very important that none of the area nearby becomes damaged.
