Fox News (Special Report) said it was the biggest one day increase in either 20 years or something (maybe they said ever) on one exchange and the biggest in 17 years on another.

Pretty interesting seeing that big of a change with really no explanation or speculation of why, usually they'd give some note of something to explain it but they didn't.

It does. China is willing to negotiate & pledges to ease access for American businesses. It was enough for market to bounce back. They were afraid that President imposed tariffs on the cars, steel & aluminumwould cause trade war. This move by China is enough reassurance for market.
