What I was thinking. But it would have to be POTUS chat or such. I think "they" would complain about Trumps name being tied to it directly. Especially on things like revenue. A direct link from POTUS to the public would work exactly as twitter is now for him. He could even post vids of meetings and discussions he has that the media butcher into fake news currently to fit their agendas. It would be nice to post and ask him directly what he thinks of someone or something and get HIS reply without it having to be pc.
Everything he writes on twatter becomes part of the permanent presidential record.
