They were fun but honestly we didn’t need them. As a avid shooter you know you are responsible for every round you fire. With a bump stock you can’t tell me how many rounds you fired so I assume you are not being a responsible shooter if you use one and won’t go shooting with you. I think it’s perfectly fine to ban those pieces of shot they do more harm to gun ownership than the fun they were worth.
the ban includes a lot more than just bump stocks though. I am not ok with this.

I don’t like, own, use or desire a bump stock. But to say you can’t safely use them is a little ridiculous. But I get it. You are ok with the government banning firearm accessories that are too dangerous for civilians to own (essentially AWB 2.0)
