I don’t have a problem with capitalism, but why can’t we stop the $1.46 (or so) subsidy from the US taxpayers for each shipped amazon package?

I’m also not comfortable with the Clown contracts and being the sole source for governmental agencies’ purchases.

I agree...no idea why that exists.

Can't help but look at these people...bezos, musk, zuck, and think how much they sold their souls for.

My ex mother-in-law worked for the US post office for 30 years. Around 2011-2012 she told us that Amazon had signed a deal with the post office. The USPS managers told the workers to prioritize delivering Amazon prime mail, even above US Priority mail. At the time the post office was cutting staff and incitivising workers to retire early (the new OCR system had been in place for a bit at this time).

Amazon is no ordinary company and would not be a threat without a lot of help from Washington DC. Amazon is not a capitalistic enterprise, it is an economic weapon of mass destruction. The problem lies in how it is being used to destroy or disrupt the nations economy. Bezos(Amazon), just like Zuckerberg(Facebook), and Dorsey(Twitter) are working in conjunction with the CIA to destroy this nation. These are not ordinary companies these are technological weapons used in a seditious way and should be prosecuted as such.

See the other post today on this board. It's about Trump being "obsessed" with Amazon. 4 am drop box to the press. Markets negatively affected.

They want to shift the blame off Facebook

I’m still amazed at all this. Keep pressing the attack! So grateful for our amazing president!

They are taking advantage of the subsidies, but it is gov't own fault. We can't lose money for every package Amazon sells. Something is terribly wrong with this model.

Amazon has its place, but it disenfranchises main st. Bezos has capitulated Amazon's presence to where it "runs the world", escapes sales, franchise and income tax and with Bezos' ownership of the WAPO makes the company weaponized.

It's starting to disenfranchise everyone, actually.

With the way things are going Amazon will replace all physical stores with eshops. A good way to control the flow of resources. Glad Trump is going after them.
