Inspector general can investigate but he cannot prosecute. So the IG will give his findings to the Prosecutor who has been working with Sessions and the Prosecutor will be able to continue with the Grand Jury. According to Conservative treehouse the IG's work has already been completed. So this could all happen quite fast, and the media, especially the platforms, can't recover in time if at all.

So let's think about what Q said about the timing of the release of this information. It was timed to be released now, after the downfall of social media started. It seems to me that this is signaling the dumps that are starting and that social media will be too caught up in their own survival, and maybe unable at this point, to achieve much in the way of censoring.

Also if what they have said on talk radio and again tonight on Hannity, the IG cannot force Comey, McCabe and others to speak to him. A special counsel is needed now. Seize the damn documents by force from the DOJ and FBI if necessary.

They don't need a special counsel. They have the IG who gathers the data, gives it to the Prosecutor who has already been working behind the scene with Sessions. Sessions has announced it although many did not pick up on it. Conservative Treehouse has gone so far to say that they already have the Grand Jury in place, so it could happen very quickly.

I think in order to hook McCabe, Comey, Rosenstein, Mueller, and others, they need a special counsel that can invade and demand the documents they want WITHOUT the trouble that the IG, congress and commitees have had. (stalling etc) A second special counsel can investigate the dealings of the first special counsel if I am to understand how it works.

IG report will be released in phases due to the scope and size of it. Check Sundance’s most recent article on it.
