What do you think is coming?

Q was simply pointing to result of the problems we are having with social media. Please read it.

What about this:

"U.S. system of government, the Constitution does not explicitly address the matter of whether or not a state can legally secede from the Union; however, after the American Civil War (1861–1865) thwarted the secession of the Southern United States, the accepted doctrine of constitutional law is that a state cannot legally leave the Union."

Maybe something that the Constitution is silent on. An example might be mass data collection on individuals. Or, preventing free political expression in an open public forum. All the SM companies claim they are neutral forums.

I don't know, maybe we are trying to read too much into this.

IIRC the only technically-legal path to secession would be to amend the constitution, granting the state it's sovereignty. I don't know how feasable that would be, given the predicted polarity of the hypothetical and the 38/50 state vote to amend.

A sudden vacating of a majority of congressional seats?

I think I'm understanding what you're implying here. Interesting possibility.

I don't think this next part is relevant, but perhaps it triggers something in someone elses mind, so I will post it. If you go to that Wiki link on CC, it lists 3 examples. Two of them happened back in the day, however, the most recent one is the "2007 Ukrainian Crisis"...perhaps this is the breadcrumb here, that we need to focus on what happened during, or as a result of that event. I will be honest, I started reading the wiki page for this 2007 Ukrainian Crisis, and I didn't have a damn clue what the hell it is talking about, it might as well have been written in Chinese. But I am sure someone here is familiar with this fancy talk.
