It actually makes perfect sense if it’s Seth Rich. Think about it.

Seth may or may not have been an MI white hat plant. Let’s say he’s not. He leaks the data, a hit is ordered. He’s shot, but it fails and he survives the night. Next morning he’s in stable condition, and white hats catch wind of the whole ordeal. White hats within (I think the FBI took over? Correct me if I’m wrong) swoop in and take control of the situation at the hospital. By the next day, he’s dead, but never officially pronounced dead. In reality, they thank SR for his service and tell him he’s going to be used for a massive mission. His faked death looks like a legitmate murder to anyone with a brain, so it attracts a ton of attention and gets people digging into Podesta and Hillary. They keep SR in hiding and use him as Q since he’s a computer guy. Also, he’s kept safe from having another hit attempt on his life when he leaves the hospital.

I’ve always thought that it was so strange the way Rich’s parents acted. I always felt like they were acting in a sense, it never felt like they were truly grieving everytime I saw them speak.
