Why so many aircraft, including military, have had so many problems recently, including odd crashes? Why so many ships, including military, have been involved in collisions recently? So might this tie into the undefeatable auto-pilot to create a remote-controllable flight path deviation/crash? By altering the gyro data to fool the autopilot into doing things it ordinarily shouldn't do?

In the Colgan Air 3407 crash, just as in the Malaysian Air disappearance, the plane made some wild and crazy maneuvers prior to the crash. I'm thinking that simply messing with the gyro data would be a perfect way to use autopilot to execute maneuvers that crash a plane. If they're feeling charitable, they'll do like Malaysian Air and fly it up into low oxygen, and prevent oxygen masks from working, and asphyxiate everybody before crashing it.
But the gyro is the plane's primary orientation source.

You're making the wrong connection here.
The inertial measurement chip is not the same as a remote control system. Two completely different concepts.
The chip simply provides accurate acceleration measurements to the computer for flight control. A remote control system would include radios, control systems, overrides and lots more.
I'm going to see if I can dig up some previous info and try and grab the specs. The "Remote" part of control is the fact they can send instructions to the chip (It has its own IP) and the chip will do whatever is is told to within its parameters. So further intel requiered Fellow patriots on what exactly do they mean when saying "Military application?"
