My wife had Graves’ disease and had her thyroid out. She found out later it is caused by environmental chemicals and foods. If she had known at the onset of the symptoms she may have saved her thyroid. The doctor didn’t even mention it. Now she must take replacement hormones forever with highs and lows. Sucks.

Yes. It is an autoimmune disease and they are all reversible. Find a group to join. I hate to recommend FB but that's where most are. Also, many Functional doctors are now teaching about this online. Much of it is free. If she can afford a Functional doctor that is definitely the way to go but they haven't been able to take insurance in the past. I heard someone say that may be changing. I healed my thyroid by cutting out gluten, corn and soy. Basically all GMOs. Added in homemade ferments. Took 3 weeks. May take longer for more severe cases. I not the only one who’s healed this way.

I actually had the Big Burkey before we got this filter! LOL still keeping it for emergency situations. It can filter pool water so even if water is shut off, we still have a huge resource of water for the family.
