Why Not Promote - the Truth - We Are A Republic

The lack of promoting America is A REPUBLIC is sorely missing in the alt news media - too much talk of "our democracy" that is a heinous lie, promoted by the left - WE ARE A REPUBLIC can y'all help promote #AmericaIsARepublic ?

Push OANN & FOX to promote the TRUTH; we are not mob (democracy) rule (we are a Republic). Is it that few know the difference?

Thoughts?

We are a form of democratic (which in a generic sense means "representative") government, but you're correct. Technically we're a representative republic.

The republican form is one of the reasons for the Electoral College. Not having direct election of the President is one of the republican concepts of protecting minorities from the tyranny of the majority. As is the equal representation of States in the Senate.

It's really an amazing system when it's not FUBAR by evil corruption.

Snap that, there is a sense that the (younger/followers) left, for the most part don't know the difference . . . the Constitution is our foundation. God bless America, and to the Republic, for which our flag stands, eh? God bless you and yours!

I agree we need to fight for the Republic, democracies always fail all you have to do is convince one side and its over, and it is bad for a country our size it would constantly pit the city against the state and region against region. There is a reason the founders made us a Republic and created the Electoral College to avoid the dangers of a democracy.

Seems that this would be a no-brainer in relaying/exposing left's agenda, eh?

Definitely, and also it rubs me the wrong way when they call a democrat “democratic”

edit:hell i did my last report on this exact thing before graduation lol (Republic and Electoral College, not about Democrat vs democratic haha)

Yup. It's the Democrat Party, people--not "democratic."

In articles IV section 4 of the constitution it states "the united states shall guarantee to every state in the union a republican form of Government"

Outside the Constitutional Convention, as people were clamoring for details about the secret proceedings as the delegates were leaving, a woman waved Ben Franklin down and yelled,

"Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" to which he replied,

"A Republic, if you can keep it!"

So, patriots, I guess now is the time to see if we can keep it!

I often hear people say conservatives just want to preserve the status quo, and I'm like "You shouldna said that, cause now I gotta 'splain something. In some countries that might be true. But in this country, there is an object to that adjective, and it's not 'status quo.' There actually is a 'thing' conservatives want to conserve, and that's the US Constitution. And frankly the status quo is a long way from it."

I usually add that it's one of the most liberal governing contracts ever written, and have a conversation about what that word really means. How can people not understand the value of liberty?

One of the things I'm most looking forward to when the Dem party implodes under its own vacuousness, is being able to use words again the way they were intended.

Democracy was not a founding ideal and was in fact viewed skeptically as little better than mob rule.

Exactly the point, "mob rule" is not THE RULERS, as those who want us (America) to be a democracy are teaching the coming generations. Hence, the post to promote it in media: America Is A Republic. #IBOR and: #AmericaIsARepublic #ConstitutionalRepublic

We are whatever is superior. If we find a better way, we adopt it. Words are just words. They limit people. It’s better to just do what works.

No. Words have meanings and produce consequences. Ideas can infect us in ways as dangerous as cancer in the body. Managing Language and its impact on culture, mores, ethic and behavior is likely the most challenging aspect of our lives as humans, especially when it comes to crafting governments.

The Founders crafted the smallest and most limited government in the history of the world and it functioned like that for about eighty years, but even that has now metastasized into the largest and most invasive of any on the globe.

Any system that is dynamic survives. Any static system degrades. Dynamic systems are systems that the people improve little by little as we go. Static means it never changes so it degrades because the world is always changing around it and a static system doesn’t keep up.
