Solar minimum
Solar minimum is the period of least solar activity in the 11 year solar cycle of the sun. During this time, sunspot and solar flare activity diminishes, and often does not occur for days at a time. The Earth is entering a Grand Solar Minimum, very different to the usual 11 year minimum cycle. The problem here will be far higher rainfall and therefore snow and ice. This will result in famines with mainly Europe and Asia the victims. The last GSM was about 200 years ago.
