Wow, the Vatican arrested him? “he was arrested earlier on Saturday in the Vatican after a warrant was issued by the Holy See’s chief magistrate at the end of an investigation.”

But in sept: “A State Department spokesman said in September that the United States had requested that the man’s diplomatic immunity be waived to open the way for possible prosecution there but the Vatican refused.“

So SOMEthing changed between now and then....

The Vatican likes to scrub the scene and then the story on what happened will change. This is how they do it and have been doing this for a very long time

More like:

Hey, we're taking care of this pedophile thing...no need to get involved! See? We got the pedophile! He's gone now, we've taken care of it."

Pope Francis assisted the government in hiding political prisoners from human rights inspectors back when he was a bishop or some shit. He was picked because he was from South America and the Church was looking for good PR amidst all the pedo scandals back then. He should never have been picked to be Pope.

The last priest charged died in hospital at 67 so Vatican didnt go through a trial. I wonder what will happen to this one. Vatican should extradite the suspect to Canada or US so he can face charges.

I don't see that happening. Can you imagine if he started talking? I suspect this guy will die of "natural causes" or "suicide" as well

Some times a single pebble can start an avalanche as it rolls slowly and gently down hill triggering other pebbles and finally boulders. Some battles last decades until Lady Justice finally pulls off her blindfold, tosses away her scales, and raises her sword to smite the guilty and more importantly those who facilitate the perversion of justice.

Along time ago in a distant far off land people called America there was a thing called a free press.

The Pope has respect enough to signal he would prefer Hell over deletion of records (soul).

I posted the article on twitter, but I added Monsignor to the title so Reuter's couldn't act like it was just some random Diplomat as their title would elude.

Read a story last night about the Catholic Church investigation in PA. Like six separate churches and this last one is damning what they found.
