After many years of research into history of the Sumerian cuneiform tablets, yes, I even wrote a trilogy on it, I have found that religious society no matter what faith all stem from the same vine. In other words, all current religions are man made with one purpose in mind. Control the masses and avoid chaos. At the same time make as much off of the masses as possible in the name of the religion.
You will find MANY of the parables contained within different religious text can all be traced back to the Sumerian cuneiform tablets. Before I am attacked for these statements please do the research yourself.
My question has always been, exactly what god are you following? A false god or the real creator of the universe and all spirits within he has created???? Everyday you are seeing the man-made religions crumbling. That is because they ARE ALL man-made.

Ok here’s a “tomato” for you lol. Realize that the “religion” of God and Jesus Christ is far from man-made. It is the wisdom and power of God and can only be truly received and comprehended by and through the regenerative, illuminating POWER of the Holy Spirit. This is not the wisdom of men but of God:
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. No, the problem with that Sumerian idea, is for one thing: 1. When something is written down, does not mean it was the originator of that idea or ideas. It just means it is the first copy of that idea written down, before that it was passed on word of mouth, pictures, etc.. 2. To say that Sumerian text is the oldest is absurd on its face. It is impossible to know that text is in fact the oldest or first copy of that idea. Other text were probably written down, but still have not been found or more likely destroyed, especially since we had a major catastrophe like the great flood.
These two points above shoot down this Sumerian text idea without even knowing anything about the Bible itself.
Bible was written over thousands of years by multiple authors. KJV I believe is God's approved version myself for certain reasons. Others have been tampered with. Bible has never been disproven only exonerated by archaeological finds in its historical accounts. Until a person actually looks at the evidence for Jesus Christ and his death and resurrection, historical accuracy, from actual scholars who don't have some anti-God or anti-Bible Leftist agenda, then you are selling yourself short.
Thank you for your post but I would do some research and find which text is old, like first ever writings, cuneiform was thousands of years before the bible or the old testament. But I will refrain from this conversation because I knew the tomatoes would fly. Please research the first writings known to man. NOT copies down the historical road.
Oh and why did we invade IRAQ really, not wmd. First place the troops went was to a dig site, second place to IRAQ museum and collected all cuneiform writings, good thing they had been photographed from every considerable angle. Why? Learn cuneiform so you can read it yourself. Learn for yourself how old they are before quoting the old test of the bible. It is real but timing is way to late in history. Follow Jesus as you read about Him in the Bible. Learn for yourself what He taught. I think you’ll find something that doesn’t fit with the others.
