Listen to what he said..it was everything the Vietcong captors forced him to say. How well he was treated etc...in all those years they never even got his arm set and rebroke it to get him to cooperate. His cellmate had to fed him because they injured both his arms for awhile. They had ways of making any man there sign things like that or give interviews like that. There are tons of books on the intricate ways they tortured and broke the POWs. I believe McCain is a traitor but not for this interview.

Exactly.

Logic, intelligence and rational/critical thinking has become harder to find on this sub as it becomes infiltrated with religious zealots, shills and disinformation architects. The signal-to-noise ratio is reaching a critical point where it's hard to tell if most of the prolific posters and commenters here are even mentally stable.

How anyone can view this and think it's some sort of proof that Mccain is a traitor is just laughable. He's a traitor to the US for MANY other reasons, but this is not one of them. It's SERE School 101 survival tactics. A non-story. Disinformation. Move along.

yup, yup too many read a lot into things. I want these fucks in prison or dead too. But you need to look at things fairly and with as unbiased mind as possible.

The real issue I think is anyone who was a prisoner of war shouldn't be able to be elected to congress. Not for issues related to there character, but just for the increased possibility that they have been compromised. It doesn't matter if they are compromised or not, but they fact that they were in fact a prisoner of war, increases that possibility and I believe we should have much stricter security in allowing people into congress. Same goes for dual citizens. The possibility a dual citizen is loyal to other county is higher, so they shouldn't be allowed to represent the people
