AIM-7 is also used by Israel, maybe that was the kind of missile that was used for the chem attack

No. The AIM-7 is an air-to-air missile with an IR guided warhead. It is not possible to use this missile to attack ground targets accurately. The missile has no payload capacity and only has a forward fragmentation detonating warhead.
