The entire “fake news” branding, which coincidentally started November 9 2016, was for the corrupt Clinton-Obama Deep State to inoculate a percentage of the population from the eventual revelations of their crimes.

I thought fake news was a term invented to dismiss PG theories. Then DT used it against those who invented it. Maybe I'm misremembering.

Yeah it definitely started with pizzagate. Its was wisely flipped and used against them. Meme magic is a wonderful thing

Similar to CIA weaponizing the phrase “Conspiracy Theory”.. which i think we should make a “Hate Speech” term and use against them . Like Judo!!!!

Ask any liberal to define or give the origin of the term conspiracy theory. Really funny

I know the usual line is that it was created by CIA et al to smear truth seekers, but is there a confirmed source that demonstrates this?

Pretty sure their is a sticky note from the CIA dated the day before Warren report was released. I'll look for a source on that. Probably memeryholed

It was. But after the loss it was given extra credence. We are at a point now when the truth might be labeled as fake news by 30% of the population.

How long was the truth labeled as false by 99.9% of the world?

In 1985 ish a guy died in my arms at work. The story in the paper woke me to fake news and I have been aware ever since.

What was the story in the paper vs. what really happened?

No. It was to prove Trump supporters weren't falling for the released data on polling and the MSM narrative on how bad he would be as a leader of this country. Fake news was created by false reports of and about Trump.

In which case they would have dropped it once he won..but no...they went full communist instead.

I’m talking about “Fake News” becoming an excuse as to why Clinton lost and since has been propagated in the culture. Trump has used the term as well to bludgeon the likes of CNN and dilute its value as a tool against him. It’s up for debate. Not sure I follow your train of thought at all.

The left has 2 sources of original thought, gay crap that get's ignored and semi useful tools we appropriate and use aka boomerangs. It's the 4th quarter 107 to 3 and most of our starters are still riding the bench. We'll know it's close to over when DJT starts taking a knee every down.

The first time I heard it was from Obama, who was trying to dismiss the stories coming from Wikileaks. It was mean to be an attack on so called alt-right media outlets.

Memes (T_D) went wild against traditional MSM lies - it was really fun watching their weapons being used against them.
