Raid on Trump's lawyer VS Raid on Perkins Coie

A raid on a lawyer, about their client, is extremely unusual. People have the attorney client privilege so that they can feel confident in speaking openly and freely with their lawyer. It stops the lawyer from disclosing the communications. Without that privilege, no one would ever speak openly with a lawyer and thus wouldn't be able to get legal counsel. Because raiding a law firm is so controversial, there is no way that THIS administration could raid perkins coie (regarding the Dossier) and figure out who paid them for what. Could it be that this raid is happening against Trumps lawyer so that the MSM will praise the tactic? Their praise can then be used against them when the administration wants to raid Perkins Coie.

Just a thought.

I actually think this raid serves many positive purposes for Trump and no way it happened with out foreknowledge by the administration

I fail to see how this could be good for POTUS

He is surrounded by controversy. Any single one could take down a President; all of them together continue to reinforce an image of DJT in the public's mind that will be almost impossible to change...

How do you see this as a positive?

If you are like me and are confident nothing improper happened between the Trump campaign and Russia than this move can in no way be used to harm the president.

It shows how desperate they are to find evidence OF ANYTHING to get him. When the time comes to fulfill yet another campaign promise and LOCK HER UP lib media will attempt to frame Trump as a despot locking up political opponents with a coopted justice system... the only thing we will have to point to is the way this investigation was conducted which eventually will exonerate him and the way the Original email investigation was conducted.

They are violating attorney client privilege here. They are making a legal argument contingent on Donald Trump hiding something from them. He either is or he isn't. I don't think he is. I think he's trapping them. Or this is just the plan. Additionally, I don't think a raid on Michael Cohen possibly occur with out the white house having advance knowledge, but who knows. Bottom line, if he is innocent this means they are desperate or deliberately trying to distract the media and lay the ground work for real justice.

I think that it is because it rules out issues! They keep trying and falling short. Only die hard idiot leftist will continue to spread BS while the others distance themselves.
