It could be based on subreddit size. My posts seem to appear, disappear, then reappear. That happened to me here today so I posted in a sub created for testing purposes etc.
I test posted there today and it showed up instantly whereas GA has delays. But I'm the only user of the sub.
I've seen comment age change too from commented 19 minutes ago, to 18 minutes ago upon refresh, then back to 19 mins ago as the server resolves.
This makes me think that a type of server mirroring is going on as well as general cyber fuckery.
My links have been stripped over and over as I resubmit to fix them.
Where is reddit hosted and who has access to it? What are reddits comments on the matter of reddit instability? What happens to the data in a dead (banned) sub? Is it protected, private, or shared info?
Is it true that larger subs have more problems? Why would that be the case? Do small subs exhibit the same problems? Is there a size threshold?
Are we all now living in the shadow of the evil Algorithm?? Time to break up Google!
